Special Lecture Program on Girl Empowerment through Education

The Rotary Club of Golaghat, in collaboration with Golaghat Jatiya Mahavidyalaya, has organized a Special Lecture Program on " Girl Empowerment Through Education" on 15th July 2024 at Golaghat Jatiya Mahavidyalaya, Golaghat. Rtn. Biju BP, former Vice President of Axis Bank and an Alumnus of IIM Kozhikode graced the occasion as Resource Person. In his speech, Mr. Biju extensively explains how through education the goal of Girl Empowerment can be achieved. He also urged the students present in the program to participate in the Adult Literacy program of RILM viz. "Each one Teaches one". More than 150 students, the Principal and faculty members of the school, and 7 Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Golaghat were present in the program. At the end of the program, students have participated in the interaction program with the resource person.
