Suicide Prevention Training

RC Kalimpong held a suicide prevention training and awareness workshop on 19/9/24 to observe World Suicide Prevention Day. Kustov Parajuli was the resource person. He is a psychiatric social worker associated with the District Hospital. Many myths surrounding suicide were busted. As a gatekeeper to help prevent suicide, one needn’t be a mental health professional. One has to be empathetic. One needs to use the tools of QPR (questioning, persuasion and referral)
