Tailoring Training Centre for women

2. Although January month in rotary calendar is known as vocational Service month but due to some unavoidable circumstances RCA could not organize any program on vocational Service. However, RCA in association with Mila Repa Buddha Vihara is running a Tailoring Training Centre at Bagmara, A D Nagar. Initially 30 were admitted to train them in tailoring and a permanent trainer was appointed. But at the end of the training program only 22 could complete the training. All these 22 women were awarded with a certificate on 7th of March. The program of certificate distribution ceremony on completion of vocational training (Tailoring) was inaugurated by the District Governor, Rtn. Sukhminder Singh in the gracious presence of Assistant Governor, xone-xvi, Rtn. Dr. Achintya Bhattacharya. The president, Secretary, Treasurer and other members of RCA were present on that occasion. Light refreshment was provided to all.
