Project Completion Report: Unveiling of the "Seva Rath" Hearse Van for Community Service

On 27th October 2024, the Rotary Club Shillong Heritage reached a significant milestone with the unveiling of the “Seva Rath” — a hearse van dedicated to community service. This dream project, conceived by our President, Rtn. Vikash Chokhani, was officially launched at the Pinewood Hotel in the presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Smti. R.M. Kurbah, Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District.

The “Seva Rath,” a symbol of compassion and service, is aimed at providing crucial support to families in need during difficult times. This initiative has been made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Shri Kamakhyalal Bajoria Charitable Trust, in loving memory of Bhagwati Prasad Bajoria.
We are pleased to report that over 22 Rotary members were present at the unveiling ceremony, reflecting the collective spirit and commitment of our club to serve the community.
