VEER BAL DIWAS

The Veer Bal Diwas Project was an event organized to commemorate the sacrifices and bravery of the Sahibzadas, the sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The program aimed to inspire students with the values of courage, resilience, and justice.
The event was hosted at Guru Nanak Model School, Tezpur, engaging schools across the city in an interactive and enriching experience.
The project took place on 26/12/2024, aligning with the observance of Veer Bal Diwas.

The initiative sought to:
Honor the sacrifices of the Sahibzadas.
Educate students about their legacy and historical significance.
Encourage students to embody their values of bravery and righteousness.
Activities:
The event featured three major components:

1. Essay Competition – Encouraging students to express their understanding and reflections on the Sahibzadas' legacy.

2. Quiz Competition – Testing students’ knowledge about Indian history, Sikh heritage, and the lives of the Sahibzadas.

3. Movie Screening – A visual depiction of the life and sacrifices of the Sahibzadas to enhance understanding and emotional connection.

Conclusion:
The Veer Bal Diwas Project was a meaningful tribute to the Sahibzadas, successfully engaging students from diverse schools across Tezpur. The program not only honored their sacrifices but also inspired students to carry forward their values of courage and commitment to righteousness.
