Vocational Excellence Award 2025

The Rotary Club of Orchid City honoured four exceptional individuals for their achievements that have brought immense pride to the State of Meghalaya in various fields on 19th March, 2025 at Shillong Club Residential.
The felicitation ceremony recognised the contributions of Aiboklang Paul Wanniang, a champion arm wrestler, Burt Reynond Nongrum, a renowned artist, Mrs. Darlilin Jovita Marsharing, a talented singer and song writer and Mr. Pynnehbor Mylliemngap, a decorated martial artist.
The event was graced by Rotarian Sanju Choudhury, former President of Centennial Rotary Club, Pocatello, Idaho, USA as the Chief Guest.
Also present were the President and Secretary of Rotary Club of Orchid City and other club members, family members of the awardees and guests.
The Chief Guests congratulated the awardees for their dedication and excellence in their respective fields. He also contributed 1000 US Dollars to the President of the Club Rtn. Anthony War for the various projects undertaken by the club.
