Vocational Excellence Award ceremony by Rotary Club Shillong Heritage

  • The Vocational Excellence Award program organized by Rotary Club Shillong Heritage was successfully held on 6th March 2025 under the leadership of President Rtn.Vikash Chokhani at the State Convention Center Shillong. Below are the key highlights:

    2. *Mr. Sunil Bajoria*
    A prominent philanthropist and social activist from Shillong, recognized for his generous contributions to charitable causes, including sponsoring a hearse van for the Rotary Club.
    3. *Mr. Redeem Tlang*
    A professional footballer from Shillong, currently playing for NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League. He was unable to attend in person due to a tournament in Guwahati, and his parents received the award on his behalf.
    4. *Dr. Chayanika Sarma*
    A senior consultant psychiatrist at Super Care Hospital, Shillong, with extensive experience in mental health care and providing support to individuals facing psychiatric challenges.
    5. *Bharat Sevashram*
    A spiritual and social organization in Shillong, focusing on promoting spiritual growth and selfless service, following the teachings of its founder Bhagwan Sri Sri Thakur.
    6. *Mrs. Airikmenlang Shabong*
    A renowned armwrestler from Meghalaya, celebrated for her achievements in national armwrestling competitions, winning several gold and silver medals.
    7. *Mr. Ajay Agarwala*
    A dedicated social worker in Shillong, recognized for his tireless efforts in projects related to education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.
    The event was a great success with inspiring speeches from the awardees and an uplifting celebration of their contributions to society.
