Vocational Training On Herbal Soap Making

Rotary Club of Gauhati South(RCGS) organized hands - on training programme on herbal soap making in collaboration with NSS wing of Guwahati Commerce College in Khaghuli Gaon, Chapaidang, Bonda Kamrup today i.e. on 3rd of March 2025 . Seventeen number of women villagers and members of few self help groups participated in the training programme conducted by a resource person Ms. Tamanna Shehnaz. She demonstrated the herbal soap making with blending of rose, turmeric and lemon. The participant keenly observed and participated in soap making process and assured the house that they will try to take up this skill to start some commercial activities through their self help groups. It was a very interesting and successful programme. The RCGS has also donated two ceiling fans ( Donated by Rtn. Manjushri Baruah and Rtn Sweta Pegu) to the authorities of the village School .
