Wheelchair Distribution Project with Another Act of Service

As part of its year-round humanitarian initiative to support persons with mobility challenges, the Rotary Club of Dimapur distributed a wheelchair to a deserving patient on 8th May 2025. The beneficiary was identified through a reference from the General Manager of a renowned media house, highlighting the collaborative effort between civil society and service organizations in addressing real needs within the community.
This gesture is part of Rotary Club of Dimapur’s ongoing wheelchair distribution project, which runs throughout the year, aiming to uplift the lives of individuals who are physically challenged or in need of mobility support due to age, injury, or illness. Each wheelchair provided brings not just comfort and mobility, but a renewed sense of dignity and independence to the recipient and their family.
Over the years, this continuous project has helped transform the lives of many individuals by enabling better access to education, work, and social participation. The Rotary Club remains committed to identifying and assisting those in need across the region, reaffirming its dedication to the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self.”
