Wheelchair Donated to a Needy Patient

On 17th April 2025, the Rotary Club of Dimapur extended its support to a physically challenged individual by donating a wheelchair to a needy patient, reaffirming its commitment to healthcare assistance and community service.
The beneficiary, identified through local community outreach, had limited mobility and was unable to afford a wheelchair. Recognizing the urgent need, the Club promptly arranged for a quality wheelchair to enhance the patient's mobility, dignity, and independence in daily life.
Club members, led by President Rtn. Monoj Bhattacharjee, personally visited the patient’s residence to hand over the wheelchair. The family expressed deep gratitude for this timely and compassionate support. President Bhattacharjee stated, “Acts like these may seem small, but they make a big difference in someone’s life. Rotary is proud to serve with purpose.”
This humanitarian gesture reflects Rotary’s ongoing efforts to uplift the underserved and promote accessibility for all.
